Everything you need to know before booking.
For weddings, I recommend reaching out 6 to 12 months ahead. Peak season (spring through fall) and weekend dates book first, so the earlier the better. Smaller events are often possible on shorter notice, so send me your date and I'll tell you what's open.
Yes. For brides I recommend a trial so we can perfect your look, see how it wears and photographs, and make any changes before the big day. Trials are usually booked a few weeks out and can be timed with your bridal shower or engagement photos.
Yes. On your event day I come to you and your party, wherever you're getting ready. I'm based in Plainfield and travel throughout the greater Chicago area; a travel fee may apply for locations outside the immediate area, and I'll always confirm it up front.
Absolutely. I regularly do the full party: bridesmaids, moms, and anyone getting ready with you. Share your headcount and ready-by time and I'll build a timeline (with an extra artist when needed) so everyone is camera-ready and relaxed, right on schedule.
A signed agreement and a retainer hold your date. The retainer applies to your total, and the remaining balance is due by the event day. Until both are in, the date stays open to other inquiries, so it's best to lock it in early.
Plan on about 45 to 60 minutes for a full face of makeup, and a little longer when hair is included. For groups, I schedule each person into a timeline so we finish calmly with time to spare before you need to be ready.
